Birmingham Pride is a weekend long LGBT festival held annually in the Gay Village on Hurst Street, Birmingham, England: held over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend.
It is uniquely the largest Free LGBT festival in the region which features a carnival parade through the city centre plus entertainment zones, including dance arena, cabaret marquee, funfair, community village green, central market street, live performance and the friendliest street party.
The 2011 theme is ‘One World, One Love, One Community' bringing together all the celebratory elements of the festival for all to enjoy.
The theme is all about the friendly welcome the LGBT community prides itself on no matter who or where you come from.
The festival is truly welcoming and we play our part in making the city and region’s events calendar truly rich and diverse.
